Dosage Studied

The levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleokin-8 ( IL-8), C-reactive protein (CRP), procalcitonin, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), numeric rating scales, dosage of propofol, dexmedetomidine and rocuronium, as well as analgesic complications were monitored in the 2 groups. Drug concentrations at high nanomolar levels and above, which are relevant to conventional pulsatile dosing of VRL, induced a dose-dependent and nuclear factor-κB-related increase in proangiogenic interlekins and cyclooxygenase-2 and decrease in thrombospondin-1 receptor CD36.
