Dosage Studied

The study found that although the depletion of organic carbon increased with increased permanganate dosage and increased reaction period, the mass ratio of MnO(4)(-):OC was relatively constant over time. If the practical dosage applied in drinking water treatment is considered, it is expected that most of the pesticides will be completely degraded by ozone, a few bypermanganate, but probably none by UV254.
