Toxicity

The organotin, trimethyltin (TMT), is a highly toxic compound. We report that two organic tin compounds are also toxic to these cells with EC50 values for cell death of c. 50%. We investigated how an electrophysiological parameter could be used as a marker of in vitro neurotoxicity in the case of two well-known toxic compounds.
