Description

Nonane is an alkane hydrocarbon with the molecular formula C9H20. It is a colorless, odorless, flammable liquid. Nonane is found in small amounts in petroleum and is also produced as a byproduct of the refining process. It is used as a solvent and a fuel. Nonane is also used in the production of plastics and other chemicals. Nonane is studied for its potential use as a biofuel. It is also studied for its potential use in the production of plastics and other chemicals.'
