Description

N-acetyl-L-arginine (NALA) is a derivative of the amino acid L-arginine. It is synthesized by acetylation of the amino group of L-arginine. NALA is a precursor to nitric oxide (NO), a molecule that plays a role in various physiological processes, including vasodilation, neurotransmission, and immune responses. NALA is studied for its potential therapeutic effects in conditions such as cardiovascular disease, erectile dysfunction, and cognitive impairment. NALA has been shown to increase NO production, improve blood flow, and reduce inflammation. Research suggests that NALA may also have neuroprotective effects. '
