Research Excerpts

Effects

ExcerptReferenceRelevance
"Ethacizine therapy has been effective in 91% of the patients, improving the parameters of the skin capillary blood oxygenation and volumetric rate both during the stationary and progressive forms of the disease."( [Disorders of oxygenation and skin capillary blood flow rate in psoriasis and correction of them with ethacizine].

Compound-Compound Interactions

ExcerptReferenceRelevance
" In 28 patients, ethacizine was administered in combination with glutamic acid and in 23 with digoxin."( [The characteristics of the action of ethacizine and its combination with digoxin and glutamic acid on the hemodynamic indices and myocardial contractile capacity in patients with a heart rhythm disorder].

Bioavailability

We studied pharmacokinetics and bioavailability of verapamil, propranolol, and ethacizine in healthy volunteers under normal conditions and on the second day of simulated antiorthostatic hypokinesia modeling some effects of microgravity. A considerable decrease of ethaczine bioavailability in myocardial infarction patients was shown.

Dosage Studied

ExcerptRelevanceReference
"Antiarrhythmic therapy was chosen for 3-7 days by modified chronic electrophysiological study at three stages: (1) the efficacy of a drug, its action onset and termination were defined; (2) a dosage was chosen on an individual basis and the duration of drug potency was specified; (3) the dosage regimen of a drug given as a course therapy was confirmed by the results of trials."( [Evaluation of the possibility of selection of individual anti-arrhythmia therapy].
