Actions

ExcerptReferenceRelevance
"Coriaria Lactone could enhance both Low voltage activated (LVA) and High voltage activated calcium currents in a concentration-dependent way, and its effect on LVA current was more potent (about 60%)."( Coriaria lactone increased the intracellular level of calcium through the voltage-gated calcium channels in rat hippocampal neurons.

Dosage Studied

The experimental rats were injected with subconvulsive dosage of coriaria lactone (1 mg/kg) intramuscularly per 3.8 microliters (19 micrograms) convulsive dosage. The other 5 rats as controls received normal saline solution of the same volume and at the same location.
