Bioavailability

The research examined the in vitro formation of pyromorphite (K(sp) = 10(-25) to significantly reduce Pb bioavailability via the reaction of PbCl(2) and Pb paint with cola soft drinks that contain phosphoric acid. It was observed that XRD was incapable of detecting pyrommorphite, the hopeful endpoint of the immobilization strategy.
