ingenane
Description
Ingenane diterpenoids are a class of natural products with a unique and complex tetracyclic ring system. They are isolated from plants of the genus *Euphorbia*, and exhibit a variety of biological activities, including antitumor, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties. Ingenanes are of particular interest to medicinal chemists due to their potent and selective biological activities. Their complex structure poses a significant challenge for chemical synthesis, and researchers are actively developing new strategies to access these compounds for drug discovery and development.'
