zonisamide and Dystonia

zonisamide has been researched along with Dystonia in 1 studies

Zonisamide: A benzisoxazole and sulfonamide derivative that acts as a CALCIUM CHANNEL blocker. It is used primarily as an adjunctive antiepileptic agent for the treatment of PARTIAL SEIZURES, with or without secondary generalization.
zonisamide : A 1,2-benzoxazole compound having a sulfamoylmethyl substituent at the 3-position.

Dystonia: An attitude or posture due to the co-contraction of agonists and antagonist muscles in one region of the body. It most often affects the large axial muscles of the trunk and limb girdles.
