[An experiment study of protection and treatment of Kudan granule on rats of pulmonary fibrosis induced by pinyangmycin].
To explore the protection and treatment effects of Kudan granule on rats of pulmonary fibrosis induced by pinyangmycin.. In asepsis condition, rat was anaesthetized by 3.5% chloral hydrate, inserted the needle above the bifurcation of trachea and injecting 5 mg x kg(-1) pinyangmycin normal saline solution.. For model-group rats, after injecting pinyangmycin at 7, 14, 28, 56 days, there were mass inflammation cell infiltration at pulmonary alveoli and interstitial, the pulmonary alveolar wall and interstitial thickened obviously, and the pulmonary interval broadened distinctly. The structure of collagen fiber was destroyed, and the pulmonary alveoli disappeared. By Masson dyeing, there were hunk collagen fiber and the consolidation of lung had come into being. Compared with the model group, the rats of Kudan granule big-dose group, at 7, 14, 28, 56 days after injecting pinyangmycin, there were still much inflammation cell infiltration at pulmonary alveoli and interstitial, pulmonary interstitial edema and spotty necrosis, thickened alveolar wall, broadened pulmonary interval, and much collagen fiber in pulmonary interstitial, but there was not bunk the consolidation of lung. The curative effect of Kudan granule small-dose group was not better than that of Kudan granule big-dose group, because there were still bunk collagen fiber and the consolidation of lung in pulmonary interstitial. Although the destroyed area was more than 50%, it was better than that of the model-group.. The big-dose Kudan granule show the better function of protection and treatment for pulmonary fibrosis of rats induced by pinyangmycin. [Effect of promoting blood circulation to remove stasis and supplementing qi and nourishing yin on the lipid peroxide and superoxide dismutase during experimental pulmonary fibrosis].
The preventive and therapeutic effect of the traditional Chinese compound medicine Feixiankang (FXK) on the mice pulmonary fibrosis formation have been studied with the mice model. The level of LPO and the activity of SOD in the mice lung showed that LPO increased remarkably (P < 0.01), while the activity of SOD decreased significantly (P < 0.01) during the alveolar pneumonia period, although the LPO content had no significant change (P < 0.01) during experimental pulmonary fibrosis formation. In addition, the effect of FXK on the reducing of LPO was much stronger than that of the antioxidative agent Vitamin E. Also, FXK could improve the activity of SOD. [A preliminary approach to pathological and biochemical changes of the lungs injured by domestic pingyangmycinum].
Two hundred male mice, weighing 18-24g, were randomized into four groups. A model of lung injury was established in mice by intratracheal administration of a single dose of domestic pingyangmycinum (Bleomycin A5). The dose-effect relationship for different doses of pingyangmycinum (0.05, 0.1, 0.2 mg) on the lung injury, and the change of hydroxyprolin (Hyp), ceruloplasmin (CP), angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE), superoxide dismutase (SOD) in mice were investigated. The results showed that the pathological changes of alveolitis and pulmonary interstitial fibrosis were more severe, and mortality of the mice was increased when pingyangmycinum dose was increased. During 2-6 weeks of this experiment, Hyp, CP, ACE and SOD in serum and Hyp in lung tissue were increased in different degrees. However, the activity of SOD in lung tissue was decreased. The possible mechanism of this lung injury is also discussed. Topics: Animals; Bleomycin; Hydroxyproline; Lung; Male; Mice; Peptidyl-Dipeptidase A; Pulmonary Fibrosis; Superoxide Dismutase | 1992 |
[A study on the inhibition effect of tetrandrine on the pingyangmycinum induced pulmonary fibrosis].
A model of pulmonary fibrosis caused by a single intratracheal injection 0.1 mg pingyangmycinum in mice was reported. The effect of tetrandrine, a herbal powder, 50 mg/kg time, on the pathological development of pulmonary fibrosis, and the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE), quantity of hydroxyproline (HYP) in this mice model were investigated. We also contrast tetrandrine with cortisol. The result showed that tetrandrine may inhibit the formation and development of pulmonary fibrosis. On the other hand, tetrandrine and cortisol may increase the activity of SOD of lung tissue, reduce the quantity of HYP of lung tissue and decrease the activity of serum ACE.
