[Therapy of degenerative maculopathy with Cosaldon A + E].
Klinische Monatsblatter fur Augenheilkunde, 1987, Volume: 190, Issue:1

Results of long-term treatment with Cosaldon A + E in 173 patients (= 345 eyes) exhibiting various stages of degenerative maculopathy are presented (5 tables and 4 figures). Depending on the initial status up to 80% of the treated eyes responded positively to this therapy with only a small side-effect rate: these results suggest that Cosaldon A + E is a promising alternative in the treatment of degenerative maculopathy.

[Long-term treatment of senile macular degeneration with Cosaldon A+E].
Klinische Monatsblatter fur Augenheilkunde, 1985, Volume: 187, Issue:4

During the early phase of senile degeneration of the macula treatment with Cosaldon A+E offers real changes of improvement. In the later phases long-term Cosaldon therapy can bring about an appreciable improvement when other vasoactive substances are administered at intervals. The addition of the vitamins A and E improves the efficacy of Cosaldon. Results in 157 patients are supported by statistics.
