tyrphostin 25 and Glioma

tyrphostin 25 has been researched along with Glioma in 1 studies

Glioma: Benign and malignant central nervous system neoplasms derived from glial cells (i.e., astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, and ependymocytes). Astrocytes may give rise to astrocytomas (ASTROCYTOMA) or glioblastoma multiforme (see GLIOBLASTOMA). Oligodendrocytes give rise to oligodendrogliomas (OLIGODENDROGLIOMA) and ependymocytes may undergo transformation to become EPENDYMOMA; CHOROID PLEXUS NEOPLASMS; or colloid cysts of the third ventricle. " However, dose-response curves revealed significant differences in the IC50 values obtained for some TYRs (T25 and T56), and significant differences in the IC50 potency rank order when comparing inhibition of LPS versus cytokine-dependent iNOS induction."1.29Differential suppression of glial nitric oxide synthase induction by structurally related tyrosine kinase inhibitors.
