tolbutamide and Insulin Coma

tolbutamide has been researched along with Insulin Coma in 8 studies

Tolbutamide: A sulphonylurea hypoglycemic agent with actions and uses similar to those of CHLORPROPAMIDE. (From Martindale, The Extra Pharmacopoeia, 30th ed, p290)
tolbutamide : An N-sulfonylurea that consists of 1-butylurea having a tosyl group attached at the 3-position.

Insulin Coma: Severe HYPOGLYCEMIA induced by a large dose of exogenous INSULIN resulting in a COMA or profound state of unconsciousness from which the individual cannot be aroused.
