sulfites and Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum

sulfites has been researched along with Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum in 1 studies

Sulfites: Inorganic salts of sulfurous acid.
sulfites : Any sulfurous acid derivative that is a salt or an ester of sulfurous acid.
organosulfonate oxoanion : An organic anion obtained by deprotonation of the sufonate group(s) of any organosulfonic acid.
sulfite : A sulfur oxoanion that is the conjugate base of hydrogen sulfite (H2SO3).

Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum: An inherited disorder of connective tissue with extensive degeneration and calcification of ELASTIC TISSUE primarily in the skin, eye, and vasculature. At least two forms exist, autosomal recessive and autosomal dominant. This disorder is caused by mutations of one of the ATP-BINDING CASSETTE TRANSPORTERS. Patients are predisposed to MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION and GASTROINTESTINAL HEMORRHAGE.
