succinylcholine and Adverse Drug Event

succinylcholine has been researched along with Adverse Drug Event in 19 studies

Succinylcholine: A quaternary skeletal muscle relaxant usually used in the form of its bromide, chloride, or iodide. It is a depolarizing relaxant, acting in about 30 seconds and with a duration of effect averaging three to five minutes. Succinylcholine is used in surgical, anesthetic, and other procedures in which a brief period of muscle relaxation is called for.
succinylcholine : A quaternary ammonium ion that is the bis-choline ester of succinic acid.

Research Excerpts

ExcerptRelevanceReference
" Unfortunately, a variety of (sometimes lethal) adverse effects, such as hyperkalemia and cardiac arrest, are associated with its use, and currently there are no specific antidotes to reverse Sch or to treat these side-effects."1.51Supramolecular therapeutics to treat the side effects induced by a depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent. ( Cheng, Q; Huang, F; Li, C; Li, L; Li, S; Shangguan, L; Wang, R; Zhang, J; Zhang, X, 2019)
" We proposed a systematic classification scheme using FDA-approved drug labeling to assess the DILI potential of drugs, which yielded a benchmark dataset with 287 drugs representing a wide range of therapeutic categories and daily dosage amounts."1.37FDA-approved drug labeling for the study of drug-induced liver injury.
