[Some ways to eliminate the side effects of antibiotic therapy in experimental pneumonia].
    Antibiotiki, 1977, Volume: 22, Issue:1

Impairement in the process of tissue respiration at the subcellular level in growing animals with experimental pneumonia are described. Under the conditions of antibiotic therapy such impairements aggravated. A combined use of antibiotics with succinic and glutamic acids resulted in improvement of the tissue respiration and acceleration of reparation. Possible mechanisms of this phenomenon are discussed.
