[Correction of metabolic hypoxia in patients with severe burn injury and septic toxemia].
The clinical efficacy of the preparation reamberin in correction of metabolic hypoxia in patients with severe thermal burn injury under septicotoxemia was studied. It was established high efficacy of the preparation in the correction of the antioxidant defense system, its considerable antitoxic activity. Established role of reamberin in maintaining the functioning of the humoral detoxication systems, and antimicrobial resistance in patients with severe thermal injury. Topics: Adult; Aged; Antioxidants; Burns; Critical Care; Drug Therapy, Combination; Humans; Hypoxia; Lipid Peroxides; Meglumine; Middle Aged; Oxidative Stress; Sepsis; Succinates; Thiobarbituric Acid Reactive Substances; Young Adult | 2012 |

[The use of reamberin in antishock therapy in severely burned patients].
A 51-year-old severely burned woman had hospitalized at the Clinic of Thermal Injuries of the S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy with a diagnosis: flame burn in a surface area of 40% (11%)/II-III b degrees of head, neck, trunk, limbs. Inhalation injury of moderate severity. The infusion drug of the combined action reamberin, which has a volemic and antihypoxic effect, had added to the complex antishock therapy. The presented clinical observation demonstrates the favorable course of burn shock: stopping of burn shock 28 hours after injury.. [Experimental evaluation of reamberin and cytoflavin effects on the course and outcome of acute burn injury].
Survival rate, average life expectancy of victims, parameters of the acid - base balance, gas composition of blood, and morphological structure of internal organs have been studied in acute experiments on a group of 120 rats with burn injury of IIIB degree (20% of body surface) against early introduction of antihypoxants reamberin and cytoflavin. It is established that the introduction of antihypoxants reliably prevents the development of typical pathologic processes and hypoxemia, reduces expressiveness of organ dysfunction and extent of mophological changes in internal organs, and increases 1.5 - 2.5 times the survival rate of heavily damaged animals in the acute period of burn injury. Topics: Acute Disease; Animals; Burns; Drug Combinations; Drug Evaluation, Preclinical; Female; Flavin Mononucleotide; Hypoxia; Inosine Diphosphate; Male; Meglumine; Niacinamide; Rats; Succinates | 2013 |
