prochlorperazine has been researched along with Diarrhea in 6 studies
Prochlorperazine: A phenothiazine antipsychotic used principally in the treatment of NAUSEA; VOMITING; and VERTIGO. It is more likely than CHLORPROMAZINE to cause EXTRAPYRAMIDAL DISORDERS. (From Martindale, The Extra Pharmacopoeia, 30th ed, p612)
prochlorperazine : A member of the class of phenothiazines that is 10H-phenothiazine having a chloro substituent at the 2-position and a 3-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)propyl group at the N-10 position.
Diarrhea: An increased liquidity or decreased consistency of FECES, such as running stool. Fecal consistency is related to the ratio of water-holding capacity of insoluble solids to total water, rather than the amount of water present. Diarrhea is not hyperdefecation or increased fecal weight.

" In 84 patients (control group), no prophylactic antiemetic or antidiarrheal drugs were administered, while in 46 patients (study group), an antiemetic (prochlorperazine) and an antidiarrheal (diphenoxylate hydrochloride with atropine sulfate) drug were administered prophylactically before and during prostaglandin infusion." | 3.66 | Prophylaxis against prostaglandin-induced gastrointestinal side effects. "Sixty gravidas 8 to 20 menstrual weeks' gestation were studied to evaluate (1) the efficacy of intramuscularly administered 15(S)-15-methyl prostaglandin F2alpha tromethamine (15(S)-Me-PGF2alpha) as an abortifacient; (2) the effectiveness of prochlorperazine and Lomotil for attenuation of vomiting and diarrhea; and (3) the practicability of augmenting this prostaglandin dose schedule with intracervical laminaria tents." | 3.65 | Evaluation of intramuscular 15(s)-15-methyl prostaglandin F2 alpha tromethamine salt for induction of abortion, medications to attenuate side effects, and intracervical laminaria tents.
