prednisolone and Body Weight

prednisolone has been researched along with Body Weight in 251 studies

Prednisolone: A glucocorticoid with the general properties of the corticosteroids. It is the drug of choice for all conditions in which routine systemic corticosteroid therapy is indicated, except adrenal deficiency states.
prednisolone : A glucocorticoid that is prednisone in which the oxo group at position 11 has been reduced to the corresponding beta-hydroxy group. It is a drug metabolite of prednisone.

Body Weight: The mass or quantity of heaviness of an individual. It is expressed by units of pounds or kilograms.

Trial Outcomes

Number of Patients Achieving 50% Reduction in Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI) Score at Week 12 in Reference to Week 0

EASI scores range from 0 to 72, with higher scores reflecting greater disease severity. Erythema, edema, lichenification, and excoriations/erosions are scored on a scale of 0 (none) to 3 (severe) on 4 anatomic regions of the body: head, trunk, upper limbs, and lower limbs. Degree of involvement on each of the 4 anatomic regions is scored on a scale of 0 to 6. The total qualitative score is multiplied by the degree of involvement for each anatomic region and then multiplied by a constant and summed to yield the EASI score. (NCT00931242)
Timeframe: 12 weeks

North Star Ambulatory Assessment (NSAA) Score

"The North Star Ambulatory Assessment (NSAA) is a 17-item rating scale that is used to measure functional motor abilities in ambulant children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). It is usually used to monitor the progression of the disease and treatment effects.~The activities are graded as follows:~2 - Normal - no obvious modification of activity~1 - Modified method but achieves goal independent of physical assistance from another 0 - Unable to achieve independently This scale is ordinal with 34 as the maximum score indicating fully-independent function."
