pilocarpine and Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency

pilocarpine has been researched along with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency in 2 studies

Pilocarpine: A slowly hydrolyzed muscarinic agonist with no nicotinic effects. Pilocarpine is used as a miotic and in the treatment of glaucoma.
(+)-pilocarpine : The (+)-enantiomer of pilocarpine.

Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency: A malabsorption condition resulting from greater than 10% reduction in the secretion of pancreatic digestive enzymes (LIPASE; PROTEASES; and AMYLASE) by the EXOCRINE PANCREAS into the DUODENUM. This condition is often associated with CYSTIC FIBROSIS and with chronic PANCREATITIS.
