[Relation between the energetic and contractile functions of the myocardium].
A comprehensive intraoperative examination of myocardial contractility and energy function in patients with acquired heart disease with predominant stenosis has enabled the significant correlations to be established between the complex of the functional indices of right ventricular myocardial and the levels of energy substrates in the myocardium of the left atrial auricular and coronary arteriovenous ATP difference. The magnitudes of changes were found in the functional parameters, which indicated myocardial energy deficiency. Topics: Adenine Nucleotides; Energy Metabolism; Humans; Mitral Valve Stenosis; Myocardial Contraction; Myocardium; Phosphocreatine; Preoperative Care | 1991 |
[Changes in the ultrastructure and biochemical indices of the myocardium during mitral commissurotomy at late stages of the disease].
Topics: Humans; Levodopa; Mitral Valve Stenosis; Myocardium; Phosphocreatine; Postoperative Complications; Preoperative Care | 1981 |
[Intravital study of energy metabolism in the liver in mitral valve stenosis].
In 42 patients with mitral stenosis an intravital study was conducted comparing the liver energy exchange with the biochemical blood serum parameters and morpho-histochemical characteristics of the biopsy material. A correlation was established between the energy exchange and the clinical stage of the disease, the pigment function of the liver and the severity of its structural changes. Topics: Adenosine Diphosphate; Adenosine Monophosphate; Adenosine Triphosphate; Adult; Energy Metabolism; Female; Humans; Liver; Male; Middle Aged; Mitral Valve Stenosis; Phosphocreatine; Phosphorus | 1977 |
