penicillamine and Sertoli Cell Tumor

penicillamine has been researched along with Sertoli Cell Tumor in 1 studies

Penicillamine: 3-Mercapto-D-valine. The most characteristic degradation product of the penicillin antibiotics. It is used as an antirheumatic and as a chelating agent in Wilson's disease.
penicillamine : An alpha-amino acid having the structure of valine substituted at the beta position with a sulfanyl group.

Sertoli Cell Tumor: Gonadal neoplasm composed entirely of SERTOLI CELLS or may have a component of GRANULOSA CELLS. Some of the Sertoli cell tumors produce ESTROGEN or ANDROGENS, but seldom in sufficient quantity to cause clinical symptoms such as FEMINIZATION or masculinization (VIRILISM).
