Further studies on the anti-neoplastic activity of 3 beta-hydroxy-13 alpha-amino-13,17-seco-5 alpha-androstan-17-oic-13,17-lactam [p-[bis(2-chloroethyl)amino]-phenyl]acetate (NSC 290205). Cancer letters, 1984, Volume: 22, Issue:2 The modified steroidal alkylating agent 3 beta-hydroxy-13 alpha-amino-13,17-seco-5 alpha-androstan-17-oic-13,17-lactam [p-[bis(2-chloroethyl)amino]phenyl]acetate (NSC 290205) is active in treating the LX-1 lung and MX-1 breast xenografts as well as a number of rodent tumors. Of 13 tumors tested, activity has been shown in 10 systems. Two systems have not received adequate testing and negative results were recorded in 1 system.
