In 34 rabbits infected with Trichinella spiralis larvae, lysozyme activity of the serum was determined in the period of one year. We have observed an increased enzyme activity both in acute and chronic period of the disease. Rabbits infected with heavy doses of Trichinella spiralis larvae showed only a minute increase of serum lysozyme activity.
