monomethylpropion and Parkinsonian Disorders

monomethylpropion has been researched along with Parkinsonian Disorders in 11 studies

monomethylpropion: metabolite of dimethylpropion; structure given in first source
2-methylamino-1-phenylpropan-1-one : An aromatic ketone that is propiophenone in which the hydrogen alpha- to the keto group has been replaced by a methylamino group.
methcathinone : A racemate comprising equal amounts of (R)- and (S)-methcathinone.

Parkinsonian Disorders: A group of disorders which feature impaired motor control characterized by bradykinesia, MUSCLE RIGIDITY; TREMOR; and postural instability. Parkinsonian diseases are generally divided into primary parkinsonism (see PARKINSON DISEASE), secondary parkinsonism (see PARKINSON DISEASE, SECONDARY) and inherited forms. These conditions are associated with dysfunction of dopaminergic or closely related motor integration neuronal pathways in the BASAL GANGLIA.
