Effect of methyl linoleate hydroperoxides on murine natural killer cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
Journal of nutritional science and vitaminology, 1995, Volume: 41, Issue:6

Methyl linoleate hydroperoxides (MLHPO), a model for lipid hydroperoxides, suppressed murine natural killer (NK) cell-mediated cytotoxicity to YAC-1 cells. When NK cells were cultured with MLHPO, the conjugation of NK cells could not lyse YAC-1 cells. These findings suggest that NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity can be suppressed by lipid hydroperoxides.
