[Immunosuppressive treatment in autoimmune vasculities]. Zeitschrift fur die gesamte innere Medizin und ihre Grenzgebiete, 1975, Dec-15, Volume: 30, Issue:24 From own experiences the observations of 3 patients were reported who were immunosuppressively treated with purine antagonists (azathioprine and 6-mercaptopurine). Hereby in a severe allergic vasculitis in a 22-year-old patient and in a granulomatous arteritis during Wegener's granulomatosis in a 51-year-old patient remissions for more than 1 and 7 years, respectively, could be achieved under immunosuppressive long-term therapy. In the case of a periarteriitis nodosa death took place 2 months after administration of 6-mercaptopurine.
