mefenamic acid has been researched along with Pregnancy in 16 studies
Mefenamic Acid: A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. It is an inhibitor of cyclooxygenase.
mefenamic acid : An aminobenzoic acid that is anthranilic acid in which one of the hydrogens attached to the nitrogen is replaced by a 2,3-dimethylphenyl group. Although classed as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, its anti-inflammatory properties are considered to be minor. It is used to relieve mild to moderate pain, including headaches, dental pain, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Pregnancy: The status during which female mammals carry their developing young (EMBRYOS or FETUSES) in utero before birth, beginning from FERTILIZATION to BIRTH.

"To assess the possible effect upon the fetus of maternal ingestion of the prostaglandin synthetase inhibitor, mefenamic acid, taken during mid-pregnancy (15-22 weeks) to prevent spontaneous abortion, samples of fetal blood were collected at fetoscopy from 13 treated and 14 untreated control cases." | 3.67 | Prostaglandins in the fetal circulation following maternal ingestion of a prostaglandin synthetase inhibitor during mid-pregnancy. ( Graf, AK; MacKenzie, IZ; Mitchell, MD, 1985) |
"Mefenamic acid appears to increase survival rates especially when crushing is performed after 31 days, although the twin of apparently successful crushings at this stage may be lost between Days 50 and 70." | 1.26 | Termination of twin gestation by blastocyst crush in the broodmare.
