[Effect of lymecycline on pathogenic mycoplasmas].
Results of sensitivity to antibiotic in vitro and results of antibiotic treatment in vivo seem to recognize so far lymecycline as the tetracycline to prescribe in infections by mycoplasmas. Topics: Female; Genital Diseases, Female; Genital Diseases, Male; Humans; Lymecycline; Male; Microbial Sensitivity Tests; Mycoplasma pneumoniae; Tetracyclines; Ureaplasma; Urinary Tract Infections; Urogenital System | 1983 |
Lymecycline or doxycycline for treatment of urinary-tract infections: a comparison of attained urine concentrations.
The urine and serum concentrations of lymecycline and doxycycline were investigated in a cross-over study in ten volunteers. Both drugs were found in therapeutic serum levels but lymecycline had a mean urine concentration of 240 microgram per ml compared to 60 microgram per ml of doxycycline. The results are discussed with regard to treatment of some urinary-tract infections. Topics: Doxycycline; Drug Evaluation; Humans; Lymecycline; Tetracyclines; Urinary Tract Infections | 1978 |
[CClinical experience with tetracycline-1-methylene lysine].
Topics: Adult; Humans; Lymecycline; Middle Aged; Respiratory Tract Infections; Tetracycline; Urinary Tract Infections | 1967 |
[Treatment of urogenital infections with tetracycline-L-methylenelysine].
Topics: Adult; Aged; Female; Genital Diseases, Female; Humans; Lymecycline; Middle Aged; Urinary Tract Infections; Urologic Diseases | 1966 |
A COMPARATIVE CLINICAL TRIAL OF LYMECYCLINE.
