isoproterenol has been researched along with Overweight in 6 studies
Isoproterenol: Isopropyl analog of EPINEPHRINE; beta-sympathomimetic that acts on the heart, bronchi, skeletal muscle, alimentary tract, etc. It is used mainly as bronchodilator and heart stimulant.
isoprenaline : A secondary amino compound that is noradrenaline in which one of the hydrogens attached to the nitrogen is replaced by an isopropyl group. A sympathomimetic acting almost exclusively on beta-adrenergic receptors, it is used (mainly as the hydrochloride salt) as a bronghodilator and heart stimulant for the management of a variety of cardiac disorders.
Overweight: A status with BODY WEIGHT that is above certain standards. In the scale of BODY MASS INDEX, overweight is defined as having a BMI of 25.0-29.9 kg/m2. Overweight may or may not be due to increases in body fat (ADIPOSE TISSUE), hence overweight does not equal over fat.

" We investigated whether dinucleotide (CA)(n) repeat polymorphisms in intron 6 (i6) or 7 (i7) and a C-60G promoter substitution of the hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL) gene are associated with a blunted in vivo beta-adrenoceptor-mediated increase in circulating fatty acids and glycerol (estimation of lipolytic response) and fat oxidation in overweight-obese subjects." | 3.74 | Blunted beta-adrenoceptor-mediated fat oxidation in overweight subjects: a role for the hormone-sensitive lipase gene.
