isocitric acid and Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

isocitric acid has been researched along with Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2 in 1 studies

isocitric acid: RN given refers to unlabeled parent cpd
isocitric acid : A tricarboxylic acid that is propan-1-ol with a hydrogen at each of the 3 carbon positions replaced by a carboxy group.

Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2: A subclass of DIABETES MELLITUS that is not INSULIN-responsive or dependent (NIDDM). It is characterized initially by INSULIN RESISTANCE and HYPERINSULINEMIA; and eventually by GLUCOSE INTOLERANCE; HYPERGLYCEMIA; and overt diabetes.
