iopromide and Hemiplegia, Crossed

iopromide has been researched along with Hemiplegia, Crossed in 2 studies

iopromide: structure given in first source
iopromide : A dicarboxylic acid diamide that consists of N-methylisophthalamide bearing three iodo substituents at positions 2, 4 and 6, a methoxyacetyl substituent at position 5 and two 2,3-dihydroxypropyl groups attached to the amide nitrogens. A water soluble x-ray contrast agent for intravascular administration.

Research Excerpts

ExcerptRelevanceReference
"Here we report a case of self-limiting monoplegia in a patient after the administration of intracoronary iopromide after coronary angiography which emphasises that, although benign, contrast-induced monoplegia is a neurological disease which requires careful evaluation and accurate management."1.38Contrast-induced monoplegia following coronary angioplasty with iopromide. ( Aykan, A; Karabay, CY; Kocabay, G; Zehir, R, 2012)
"Usually, extravasation of contrast media affects the posterior circulation with cortical blindness."1.32[Cerebral contrast medium extravasation after coronary angioplasty]. ( Block, F; Foltys, H; Krings, T, 2003)
