iohexol and Innate Inflammatory Response

iohexol has been researched along with Innate Inflammatory Response in 9 studies

Iohexol: An effective non-ionic, water-soluble contrast agent which is used in myelography, arthrography, nephroangiography, arteriography, and other radiographic procedures. Its low systemic toxicity is the combined result of low chemotoxicity and low osmolality.
iohexol : A benzenedicarboxamide compound having N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)carbamoyl groups at the 1- and 3-positions, iodo substituents at the 2-, 4- and 6-positions and an N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)acetamido group at the 5-position.

Research Excerpts

ExcerptRelevanceReference
"Insulin resistance was estimated by quantitative insulin-sensitivity check index (QUICKI) and homeostasis model assessment for insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) and body composition by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry."1.33Elevated resistin levels in chronic kidney disease are associated with decreased glomerular filtration rate and inflammation, but not with insulin resistance.
