indoprofen has been researched along with Postoperative Complications in 3 studies
Indoprofen: A drug that has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Following reports of adverse reactions including reports of carcinogenicity in animal studies it was withdrawn from the market worldwide. (From Martindale, The Extra Pharmacopoeia, 30th ed, p21)
indoprofen : A monocarboxylic acid that is propionic acid in which one of the hydrogens at position 2 is substituted by a 4-(1-oxo-1,3-dihydroisoindol-2-yl)phenyl group. Initially used as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic, it was withdrawn from the market due to causing severe gastrointestinal bleeding. It has been subsequently found to increase production of the survival motor neuron protein.
Postoperative Complications: Pathologic processes that affect patients after a surgical procedure. They may or may not be related to the disease for which the surgery was done, and they may or may not be direct results of the surgery.

"A double-blind, controlled trial is described in which a total of forty hospital in-patients suffering from severe post-operative pain were randomly allocated to treatment with one of two non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, namely, either indoprofen which has a short half-life (two-hours) or naproxen which has a long half-life (thirteen hours)." | 5.04 | Kinetics of analgesic response in man; an example with two non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesic drugs.
