Breast enlargement with protease inhibitor use.
A change in body shape has been associated with protease inhibitor usage. Increased fat in the abdomen, commonly called Crix belly, has been reported in both men and women. Women have also reported breast enlargement, accompanied by redness and tenderness. Symptoms abate when the protease inhibitors are discontinued.
