imidazole and Hypoparathyroidism

imidazole has been researched along with Hypoparathyroidism in 1 studies

imidazole: RN given refers to parent cpd
1H-imidazole : An imidazole tautomer which has the migrating hydrogen at position 1.

Hypoparathyroidism: A condition caused by a deficiency of PARATHYROID HORMONE (or PTH). It is characterized by HYPOCALCEMIA and hyperphosphatemia. Hypocalcemia leads to TETANY. The acquired form is due to removal or injuries to the PARATHYROID GLANDS. The congenital form is due to mutations of genes, such as TBX1; (see DIGEORGE SYNDROME); CASR encoding CALCIUM-SENSING RECEPTOR; or PTH encoding parathyroid hormone.

Research Excerpts

ExcerptRelevanceReference
"Inhibitors of thromboxane synthetase (imidazole), cyclooxygenase (indomethacin), phospholipase A2 (Mepacrine) were used in the experiments on rabbits with experimental hypoparathyroidism to study the role of aggregation factors in the changes of ADP- and collagen-induced platelet aggregation."3.67[Mechanisms of thrombocyte aggregation in experimental hypoparathyroidism].
