hydroxyproline and Hepatitis, Alcoholic

hydroxyproline has been researched along with Hepatitis, Alcoholic in 5 studies

Hydroxyproline: A hydroxylated form of the imino acid proline. A deficiency in ASCORBIC ACID can result in impaired hydroxyproline formation.
hydroxyproline : A proline derivative that is proline substituted by at least one hydroxy group.

Hepatitis, Alcoholic: INFLAMMATION of the LIVER due to ALCOHOL ABUSE. It is characterized by NECROSIS of HEPATOCYTES, infiltration by NEUTROPHILS, and deposit of MALLORY BODIES. Depending on its severity, the inflammatory lesion may be reversible or progress to LIVER CIRRHOSIS.
