[Steroid-induced damage of the facial skin following use of prednicarbate].

    Prednicarbate is known to be a potent topical corticosteroid with few side-effects. On the basis of 5 case reports, however, it is shown that topical application of prednicarbate can have serious side effects on the facial skin. For this reason, prednicarbate should be used only in exceptional cases and for short periods in the facial region.
