guaifenesin and Multiple Myeloma

guaifenesin has been researched along with Multiple Myeloma in 2 studies

Guaifenesin: An expectorant that also has some muscle relaxing action. It is used in many cough preparations.

Multiple Myeloma: A malignancy of mature PLASMA CELLS engaging in monoclonal immunoglobulin production. It is characterized by hyperglobulinemia, excess Bence-Jones proteins (free monoclonal IMMUNOGLOBULIN LIGHT CHAINS) in the urine, skeletal destruction, bone pain, and fractures.
