[Current problems and new developments in therapy of mycoses (author's transl)].
Mycoses for most of them) represent a group of infectious diseases which seem to increase steadily although numerous fungicidal or fungistatic therapeutics are available. A severe problem is provided by the so-called opportunistic fungi which become parasitic only after the host's immunological protection has been impaired by predisposing factors. Therapy resistance and prevention of relapse are problems of a general nature in the therapy of mycoses.
