glycolic acid and Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

glycolic acid has been researched along with Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2 in 1 studies

glycolic acid: RN given refers to parent cpd
glycolic acid : A 2-hydroxy monocarboxylic acid that is acetic acid where the methyl group has been hydroxylated.

Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2: A subclass of DIABETES MELLITUS that is not INSULIN-responsive or dependent (NIDDM). It is characterized initially by INSULIN RESISTANCE and HYPERINSULINEMIA; and eventually by GLUCOSE INTOLERANCE; HYPERGLYCEMIA; and overt diabetes.
