glafenine and Cardiovascular Stroke

glafenine has been researched along with Cardiovascular Stroke in 3 studies

Glafenine: An anthranilic acid derivative with analgesic properties used for the relief of all types of pain.
glafenine : A carboxylic ester that is 2,3-dihydroxypropyl anthranilate in which the amino group is substituted by a 7-chloroquinolin-4-yl group. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, glafenine and its hydrochloride salt were used for the relief of all types of pain, but high incidence of anaphylactic reactions resulted in their withdrawal from the market.

"The authors report the case of a 38 year old man who experienced at two month' interval, hypersensitivity reactions to the ingestion of 200 mg tablets of glafenine, complicated on the first occasion by a transmural anterior wall myocardial infarction as the first manifestation of coronary artery disease and on the second occasion by Prinzmetal angina due to posterior wall ischaemia."7.67[Transmural myocardial infarction and Prinzmetal's syndrome in an allergic reaction to glafenine. Physiopathological discussion. Apropos of a case]. ( Bellorini, M; Besse, F; Desaint, MM; Ertel, M; Godard, S; Hooreman, H; Lainée, R; Le Tessier, G; Lévy, M; Sablon, P, 1985)
