gabexate and Injury, Myocardial Reperfusion

gabexate has been researched along with Injury, Myocardial Reperfusion in 2 studies

Gabexate: A serine proteinase inhibitor used therapeutically in the treatment of pancreatitis, disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), and as a regional anticoagulant for hemodialysis. The drug inhibits the hydrolytic effects of thrombin, plasmin, and kallikrein, but not of chymotrypsin and aprotinin.

Research Excerpts

ExcerptRelevanceReference
" The dose-response characteristics of these three protease inhibitors were bell shaped, and the optimal concentrations of nafamostat mesilate, gabexate mesilate, and NCO-700 were 5 microM, 100 microM, and 20 microM, respectively."1.30Effects of protease inhibitors on postischemic recovery of the heart.
