flumazenil and Hemorrhage

flumazenil has been researched along with Hemorrhage in 1 studies

Flumazenil: A potent benzodiazepine receptor antagonist. Since it reverses the sedative and other actions of benzodiazepines, it has been suggested as an antidote to benzodiazepine overdoses.
flumazenil : An organic heterotricyclic compound that is 5,6-dihydro-4H-imidazo[1,5-a][1,4]benzodiazepine which is substituted at positions 3, 5, 6, and 8 by ethoxycarbonyl, methyl, oxo, and fluoro groups, respectively. It is used as an antidote to benzodiazepine overdose.

Hemorrhage: Bleeding or escape of blood from a vessel.

"Flumazenil may exert a beneficial effect in a subset of patients with acute hepatic encephalopathy; encephalopathy associated with bleeding is more likely to respond to flumazenil; responders to the treatment usually improve within the first 6 hours while lack of response usually represents a bad prognostic sign."9.09Flumazenil in the treatment of acute hepatic encephalopathy in cirrhotic patients: a double blind randomized placebo controlled study.
