It is an antifungal drug used for the treatment of mucosal candidiasis and for systemic infections including systemic candidiasis, coccidioidomycosis, and cryptococcosis.

Sarcoma: A connective tissue neoplasm formed by proliferation of mesodermal cells; it is usually highly malignant.
