ethosuximide has been researched along with Abnormalities, Autosome in 3 studies
Ethosuximide: An anticonvulsant especially useful in the treatment of absence seizures unaccompanied by other types of seizures.
ethosuximide : A dicarboximide that is pyrrolidine-2,5-dione in which the hydrogens at position 3 are substituted by one methyl and one ethyl group. An antiepileptic, it is used in the treatment of absence seizures and may be used for myoclonic seizures, but is ineffective against tonic-clonic seizures.

" Following treatment with antiepileptic drugs (AEDs), the patient developed several rare complications: after beginning therapy with phenytoin, the patient developed pseudolymphoma; after monotherapy with carbamazepine (CBZ), the patient thereafter developed myoclonic jerks of upper and lower limbs upon awakening; after one year of treatment with valproate (VPA) the patient developed clinical and immuno-haematological signs of SLE." | 3.69 | Clinical case report: multiple idiosyncratic adverse effects of antiepileptic drugs in trisomy 9p. "The rate of chromosomal aberrations induced by the 3 anticonvulsants was significantly increased from the first concentration analyzed, similar to half the therapeutic serum concentration." | 1.27 | Effect of anticonvulsants on human chromosomes. 2. In vitro studies. ( García Sagredo, JM, 1988) |
