[The use of melatonin for correction of sleep disturbances in assembly-line shift workers with arterial hypertension].
    Klinicheskaia meditsina, 2012, Volume: 90, Issue:3

Effects of melaxen on the circadian chronostructure of AP and pulse rate was studied in 57 assembly-line shift workers with arterial hypertension of whom 23 were given melaxen with teveten and 34 teveten alone for 3 weeks. Introduction of melaxen in therapy of AH reduced AP and normalized disturbed circadian hemodynamics. Moreover, combined treatment eliminated sleep disturbances not infrequent in such patients.
