[Therapy of patients with chronic pancreatitis of alcoholic etiology by dalagrin and laser therapy of the blood].
    Klinicheskaia meditsina, 2000, Volume: 78, Issue:12

Effectiveness of dalargin and intravenous laser blood beaming (ILBB) in combined treatment of chronic alcoholic pancreatitis (CAP) was studied in 105 patients (8 females and 97 males) with CAP duration 1 to 25 years. Pancreatic function and treatment effects were studied by routine clinical investigations, advanced laboratory, biochemical tests, radioimmunossays. Pancreatic disorders in alcoholics present with high blood levels of trypsin and lipase, low levels of insulin and C-peptide. Serum concentrations of hydrocortisone and gastrin were elevated. Combined treatment of CAP with adjuvant dalargin and ILBB not only relieves clinical symptoms but also promotes normalization of pancreatic function.

[A new approach to the evaluation of the state of the microcirculatory system in patients presenting with chronic atrophic pharyngitis and treated with a synthetic neuropeptide].
    Vestnik otorinolaringologii, 2011, Issue:3

This paper is devoted to the mechanisms of development of chronic atrophic pharyngitis. A method is proposed for studying microcirculation in the mucous membrane at the posterior pharyngeal wall of the patients with this condition using laser Doppler flowmetry. The role of chronic somatic pathology in the development of pharyngeal dystrophy is demonstrated. It is shown that therapy with the synthetic neuropeptide is highly efficacious for the treatment of chronic atrophic pharyngitis.

[The lymphocyte subpopulation in patients with duodenal ulcer and the immunocorrective activity of thymalin and dalargin].
    Likars'ka sprava, 1998, Issue:3

Kept under medical surveillance were 120 patients with duodenal ulcer running an uncomplicated course. All patients and 30 healthy donors were studied for the status of the immunity T-system by spontaneous E-rosette formation (E-RFC) and availability of theophylline-resistant (TPP-RFC) and theophylline-sensitive (TPS-RFC) lymphocytes. With B-system being studied by FAC-rosette formation. All patients with duodenal ulcer displayed a decline in the content of E-RFC, TFP-RFC, TFS-RFC as compared to the indices in controls. Inclusion into the combined therapy of thymalin and dalargin was noted to be associated with a positive dynamics in the rise of T-lymphocytes, their subpopulations to the level in controls, percentage of TFS-RFC. Indices for TFS-RFC did not differ from control ones either before or after the treatment.

[Neuropeptides in the treatment of sensorineural hypoacusis in children].
    Vestnik otorinolaringologii, 1998, Issue:4

The examination of 250 children with neurosensory hypoacusis (NSH) demonstrated a 78% efficacy of endaural phonophoresis with dalargin (DPP) and transcranial electrostimulation (TCE) for improvement of acoustic function in the presence of positive ultrasound prognosis. Rheoencephalography and biochemical tests show that neuropeptides improve cerebral hemodynamics and normalize metabolism. Both DPP and TCE promote normalization of protein spectrum of the serum. In addition, TCE normalizes serum magnesium levels and its renal elimination, while DPP normalizes serum content of cholesterol.

[The synthetic leu-enkephalin--dalargin--in the therapy of the irritable bowel syndrome and chronic noninfectious undefined colitis].
    Likars'ka sprava, 1998, Issue:4

The author proceeds from the belief that it is the dystrophic changes and disturbances in the regeneration of the intestinal epithelium that play a decisive role in the pathogenesis and morphogenesis of irritable intestinal syndrome and chronic non-infectious undefined colitis. The above alterations develop secondary to the action of harmful factors and disturbed trophic influences of neurohumoral systems of regulation during different stages of stress. At the same time the synthetic leu-enkefalin dalargin is endowed with a marked antistressor activity as well as ability to strikingly improve the regeneration of the epithelium. This was reason why therapeutic efficacy of dalargin has been given a trial in the above pathologies. Positive dynamics of symptoms of the conditions in question has been shown as well as of the histologic picture of colonic mucosa biopsies during the course of treatment of the above ailments with dalargin.
