diclofenac and Hyperemia

diclofenac has been researched along with Hyperemia in 8 studies

Diclofenac: A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent (NSAID) with antipyretic and analgesic actions. It is primarily available as the sodium salt.
diclofenac : A monocarboxylic acid consisting of phenylacetic acid having a (2,6-dichlorophenyl)amino group at the 2-position.

Hyperemia: The presence of an increased amount of blood in a body part or an organ leading to congestion or engorgement of blood vessels. Hyperemia can be due to increase of blood flow into the area (active or arterial), or due to obstruction of outflow of blood from the area (passive or venous).

" Side effect incidence and patient and investigator opinions were also recorded."2.69Tolerability and safety of 0.1% diclofenac plus 0.3% tobramycin fixed-dose ophthalmic solution: a randomized, comparative, controlled study in healthy volunteers. ( Andreu, D; Costa, J; Martínez, M; Notivol, R; Salvá, P, 1999)
"Ibuprofen was the most efficient agent, inhibiting the total reactive hyperemia by more than 70%, and naproxen was least active, producing about 35% inhibition."2.65Effect of different prostaglandin synthesis inhibitors on post-occlusive blood flow in human forearm. ( Carlsson, I; Wennmalm, A, 1983)
"Bradykinin-induced increase in 6-ketoprostaglandin F1 alpha production was greater in coronary arteries taken from L-NNA-treated dogs (+ 179 +/- 41 pg/mm2) than from control dogs (+ 66 +/- 18 pg/mm2) (P < ."2.39Coronary and systemic hemodynamic effects of sustained inhibition of nitric oxide synthesis in conscious dogs.
